| DWP score front cover of The Wire |
|
As we reported a few weeks back, DWP made the trek down to Margaret River to shoot local band Tame Impala during their last days recording their debut album. We're please to announce, that not only did we score a nice spread inside, but also the front cover!
Whilst it was a bit of a journey to actually find the place, the trouble was worth it. It was breath taking! Amazing views, awesome surroundings and not another house in sight. Under the impression I only had a short time with the band, I sourced a few locations which I thought would look good for our shoot. We had plenty of great spots to choose from. We then headed back inside to listen and watch the boys at work and we even we allowed to hear some of the new material. Which by the way was amazing! If you'd like to catch the band when they head back home in support of their Syndrom EP, then head to www.heatseeker.com.au for more details. |

Joined by Pat from Universal Music and music journo Steph Kretowicz, we joined the band at their beachside hideaway, come recording studio to chat and get some shots for Issue 15 of The Wire.
